What is worth writing about
A misfiled episode
If a work is listed under Emmaus that is plainly the Last Supper, or a Deposition has been filed with the Entombment, name the entry and say what it should be. Episode assignment is the part of this catalogue most likely to be wrong.
A work held by a church or community
If you look after a painting recorded here and something about the entry is out of date — a restoration, a relocation, a new attribution, a change in whether it can be seen — that information rarely reaches any database and is very welcome.
A request to correct or remove an image
If a work in your care is reproduced here and you would rather it were not, say so and it will come down. Reproduction of a devotional object is not something this site intends to argue about.
